Chelsea youngster to join Everton on loan

Everton boss Roberto Martinez has revealed that Chelsea midfielder Christian Atsu will join the club on a season-long loan deal tomorrow.

The Ghanaian international has been linked with a temporary switch away from Stamford Bridge this summer, with manager Jose Mourinho keen on providing his player with adequate Premier League experience.

According to Sky Sports, the former Wigan boss has confirmed that Atsu will finalise a loan move to Goodison Park ahead of the Toffees' opening league game against Leicester City on Saturday.

Atsu joined the Blues from Porto last summer, and spent the season on loan with Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.
