Barcelona to let Alex Song leave on loan
Barcelona have told former Arsenal defensive midfielder Alex Song that he is free to leave the club on loan. The Cameroon international is known to favour a return to the Premier League.
Song has struggled since his big money 20 million euro transfer to Spain and has yet to reproduce the form that made him one of the Premier League's most respected defensive midfielders.
Barcelona have grown increasingly frustrated with Song's performances and manager Luis Enrique has apparently listed the player for loan.
Man Utd and several German sides are interested in a deal for the midfielder.
