Liverpool chase youth prospect Patrick Roberts
Liverpool scouts have been monitoring the progress of Fulham right winger Patrick Roberts. The youngster has been linked with a transfer to Anfield that will see him return to the Championship side on loan until the end of the 2014/15 season.
Roberts, who has represented England's under 17 side, has recently forced his way into Felix Magath's first team plans and the 17-year-old has also attracted the interest of Chelsea and Manchester United.
The versatile youngster, who is comfortable playing up top or on the flanks, is valued at a massive 9 million pounds by the Cottagers. So far this season the youngster has played a part in all of Fulham's games in the Championship.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers wants to wrap up a deal for Roberts before the transfer window closes in just under two weeks time.
