Gary Neville has suffered a new setback in his bid to return from the broken ankle, whilst Claude Davis and winger Gary Teale have been hit by flu and Marc Edworthy is struggling to shake off a calf injury, Todd is out for a while longer.

Fergie: Derby are in dire straits

"They are in a dire position at the moment and it is going to take time.

"But Paul Jewell will be hoping that in January he will get some funds to bring in the players of his choice and enhance their chances of survival.
