AC Milan join race for Chelsea target

Serie A outfit AC Milan are reportedly set to join Chelsea in the race to sign one of Serie A's best this summer.

The Rossoneri boss Filippo Inzaghi is keen on finding a suitable replacement for Liverpool-bound Mario Balotelli before the transfer deadline on September 1.

According to Sky Sports Italia, Milan could make an offer for Roma striker Mattia Destro, who has been monitored by Chelsea over the past few weeks.

In addition to this, it is believed that the club's representatives recently had dinner with Destro to discuss on the potential switch.

Milan have also been associated with a move for AS Monaco's Radamel Falcao.
