Andre Ayew set for move to Newcastle United?

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew wants to sign Ghana international winger Andre Ayew on loan for the 2014/15 campaign. The Marseille man is on the verge of a loan transfer to the Premier League.

Ayew, who has been regularly linked with a move to England in previous seasons, has found first team opportunities somewhat limited in recent months and could now be heading for an exit.

Marseille had hoped to sell the player but with a shortage of interest in a permanent deal, Ayew is now set for a loan transfer to England instead.

Marseille will receive approximately 1.25 million euros for approving a loan deal.
