Sunderland seal Ricky Alvarez deal

Sunderland have today completed a loan deal for Argentinian winger Ricky Alvarez from Inter Milan. It is understood Gus Poyet has also secured the first option on a permanent move next summer.

Alvarez, who joined Inter Milan for 12 million euros in the summer of 2011, will make a transfer to England to the Stadium of Light on a temporary deal.

The 26-year-old has struggled since making a move to Italy and thus will make a temporary move to the Premier League in an effort to recapture the good form that had attracted the interest of Arsenal three years ago.
