Liverpool want Napoli midfielder

Liverpool are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Napoli midfield sensation Marek Hamsik Napoli during the winter transfer window.

The Slovakian international had been heavily linked with a switch to the Reds over the summer, but a deal failed to materialize.

However, Fichajes.net claims that the Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on strengthening the club's midfield setup in January, and will make a bid of around £25m for the player's services.

Hamsik scored six goals for the Naples outfit last season.
