Liverpool to move for Fiorentina shot-stopper
Liverpool are understood to be ready to shift their attention to Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto having dropped interest in Victor Valdes.
The former Barca goalie was considered to be in pole position to join the Reds this month, but the move has now come to a stall.
According to Goal.com, Liverpool ignored their chance to pursue Valdes' signature due to his recent knee injury and lack of fitness.
The report adds that the Merseysiders will switch their focus to Neto, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Liverpool are currently fifth in the league standings.
