Chelsea closing in on Barca superstar?

Chelsea have reportedly been given the green signal to land the signature of Barcelona forward Pedro in the winter transfer window.

The Blues were keen on signing up the Spain international over the summer, but the Catalan giants were unwilling to offload the talented striker, with new signing Luis Suarez banned for four months from first-team football due to the World Cup biting incident.

According to The Metro, Barca will entertain offers for Pedro in the New Year, as he is unlikely to earn a regular starting spot, with Luis Suarez, Neymar and Lionel Messi occupying the front-line.
