Elano wants Premier League return

Brazilian international Elano Blumer has reportedly revealed his desire to make a comeback to the Premier League in the January transfer window.

Elano is currently plying his trade with Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League, where he has made an impressive start having scored five goals in four games for the club.

According to Sky Sports, the former Manchester City man is hopeful that his form at Chennaiyin could ignite interest from Premier League clubs in the New Year.

“It’s certainly a possibility, but something like this does not depend only on me." He said. “There has to be interest from the clubs as well but I’m doing my part. I’m working hard, I’m playing well and if returning to England is a possibility for me then I would be very interested.”

The 33-year-old has been capped 50 times by Brazil.
