Fabian Delph, Vlaar to stay at Aston Villa

Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner has assured the club's fans that any bids for duo Fabian Delph and Ron Vlaar will be rejected. Both have been tipped to leave Villa Park in January.

With both player's contracts to expire soon, it appears Villa have been unable to agree fresh contracts with either player. Vlaar had been linked with a transfer to Man Utd whilst Delph had wanted to move elsewhere in search of European football. However, club chairman Lerner has ensured fans that neither will be sold during the upcoming transfer window.
