Olivier Giroud to return to training

Arsenal have received a welcome boost after hearing French forward Olivier Giroud will return to training. Arsene Wenger told reporters that Giroud would be available next week.

The striker picked up a lengthy injury during this season's visit to Everton and had been expected to return to action in the New Year. However, it is understood that Giroud is well ahead of schedule and could be available in mid December. Giroud will return to light training next Wednesday.
