Man Utd eye move for Miranda

Manchester United are reportedly readying a January offer for Atletico Madrid defender Miranda, according to Fichajes.net.

The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a number of top-class defenders in recent weeks as they look to strengthen their back-line in the New Year.

Fichajes.net reports that United boss Louis van Gaal considers Atletico Madrid's Miranda as one of his top transfer targets for the winter transfer window.

In addition to this, United are likely to make an initial bid of around £20m for the Brazilian defender.

United play away Arsenal in their next Premier League encounter.
