Inter Milan eye shock swoop for Steven Gerrard

Inter Milan will reportedly offer Steven Gerrard the chance to leave Liverpool in January, should he fail to agree a new deal at the club.

The Liverpool skipper has yet to agree on a new deal at the club, with his existing one expiring at the end of the season.

According to The Mail, the Nerazzurri could tempt the former England international into joining the Serie A in the upcoming transfer window.

Gerrard has recently revealed that he has no desire to step down from professional football and would consider the option of leaving the Merseyside giants for fresh pastures elsewhere.
