Arsenal want Joao Moutinho

Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for AS Monaco midfielder Joao Moutinho, as per The Express.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is understood to be keen on signing up a long-term replacement for club-captain Mikel Arteta.

According to The Express, the North London outfit are in pole position to sign the Portugal international in the upcoming transfer window.

The report adds that Monaco could offload the talented midfielder for a fee of around £30m.

Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League.
