Arsenal to sign Yohan Cabaye?

Arsenal are considered favourites to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye, according to The Express.

The France international joined the French champions from Newcastle United in the summer of 2013, and has since then failed to cement his place in the first-team.

The report claims that manager Arsene Wenger is keen on filling the void left by an injured Jack Wilshere in midfield, and considers the former Magpies midfielder as the best alternative.

In addition to this, Les Parisiens are open to offloading the 28-year-old in the New Year should any club match their asking price of £19m.
