Arsenal lining up offer for Morgan Schneiderlin

Arsenal are readying a January move for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, The Express reports.

The France international, who missed the Gunners' clash due to a groin strain, had been constantly linked with a switch away from the Saints over the summer, with the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur interested in his services.

However, The Express now claims that the Gunners are looking to step up their pursuit for the talented midfielder, and will make a bid of around £15m to secure his signature in the winter transfer window.

Schneiderlin joined the South Coast outfit from French side Strasbourg in the summer of 2008.
