Real Madrid closing in on Marco Reus

Real Madrid are believed to be inching closer to the signature of Borussia Dortmund attacker Marco Reus, The Star reports.

The German international has been constantly linked with a switch away from Dortmund since the summer, with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid interested in his services.

However, The Star claims that Los Blancos have stolen a march on their Premier League rivals, and a deal could be finalized as early as this week.

Real Madrid are currently top of the La Liga with 39 points.
