Crystal Palace chasing Michu loan signature

Crystal Palace are hoping to secure a deal for Spanish striker Michu in January. The Swansea City man is set to return to Wales after a dismal period playing in Serie A.

Crystal Palace have been linked with a host of strikers in January, with Bafetimbi Gomis of Swansea believed to also be a target. However, this afternoon, reports suggest that Michu is in fact the player that Palace are most interested in.

Since Michu's arrival in Naples, the striker has only started five games and has yet to impress boss Rafa Benitez. It is therefore presumed that Napoli will sent Michu home and that the Eagles are now the new favourites to sign the talented striker.
