Tottenham Hotspur will try to lure Danny Ings to White Hart Lane in January, according to a report.
The talented striker has been in good form for Burnley this season, and is considered a key player to their chances of survival in the top flight.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be keen on signing a new striker with the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado likely to exit the club.
According to The Telegraph, the North London club are hopeful of sealing a £7m deal for the England Under-21 international in the transfer window.
Ings has scored four league goals for the Clarets this season.
