Olympiakos make Balotelli loan bid

Greek giants Olympiakos has made an offer to sign Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli on loan for the rest of the season, The Express reports.

The Italy international has failed to settle at Liverpool since his switch from AC Milan over the summer.

Recent reports have revealed that the talented star could be sent out on loan for the remainder of the campaign in order to prove his credentials.

According to The Express, the Greek champions lead the race to sign the former City striker on a temporary basis in January.

Balotelli has yet to score a league goal for the Reds this season.
