O'Neill signing more players

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has stated that the club will be buying more players and are in the process of discussions. Aston Villa have signed both Marlon Harewood and Nigel Reo-Coker from West Ham this summer, and Villa are expected to spend more cash.

Villa chairman Randy Lerner has said to O'Neill there is money to spend, but the Villa coach is looking for value for money. Many Villa fans have reason to worry this season with the likes of mid-table rivals Man City and Fulham both spending a fortune on players this summer.
