Fabian Delph signs new Aston Villa deal

England international Fabian Delph has ended talks of an exit from Aston Villa by signing a new long-term deal.

The talented winger has been strongly linked with a switch away from the Villans, with Liverpool keen on landing his services.

However, the English winger has decided to extend his stay at Villa Park by signing a new contract to keep him at the club until the summer of 2009.

Delph revealed the good news to the Villa fans on the big screen before the FA Cup tie against Bournemouth.
