Spurs to swoop for Danny Ings?

Tottenham Hotspur will make a last ditch attempt to sign Burnley striker Danny Ings before the closure of the January transfer window.

The former England Under-21 international has been on Spurs' radar for the past year with former boss Tim Sherwood being among his admirers.

According to The Mail, manager Mauricio Pochettino is likely to make a take or leave offer of around £5m for the 22-year-old before the transfer deadline.

Spurs are currently sixth in the Premier League.
