West Bromwich Albion are keen on signing up Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor on loan for the rest of the season.

The Togolese international has been the subject of criticism from Spurs fans having blamed them for lack of support in the crunch games.

According to The Mail, Spurs are ready to loan out their African star before the transfer deadline, and the Baggies lead the chase for the player's services on a temporary basis.

Roma have also been associated with a move for the former Arsenal man.
