Stoke boss explains Huth's Leicester move
Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has explained the reasons behind allowing Robert Huth to join Leicester City on loan. The German has signed a deal until the summer.
Huth is a fan favourite at the Britannia and many are disappointed to see him leave but coach Hughes explained that there are several reasons for his departure.
"The likelihood of him playing for us in the coming weeks was low and he accepted that," said Hughes. "Not surprisingly there was a lot of interest in him. We see it as an opportunity to get games and get back to the level he was before his injury (14 months ago). The reason he has gone out on loan is because we have got almost 18 months of his contract to run."
