Ajax to re-sign Rafael van der Vaart

Ajax are reportedly considering a move to re-sign former midfield star Rafael van der Vaart at the end of the season.

The Netherlands international spent 12 years with the Eredivisie before leaving for Bundesliga side Hamburg in the summer 2005.

According to Ajax1, the Dutchman who is in his second spell at Hamburg, could be approached by Ajax representatives in the next few days regarding the possible move.

Van der Vaart has also plyed his trade for Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur in his professional career.
