Spurs plot bid for Salvio

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly hot in the pursuit of Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio, according to a report.

The North London club are likely to look for attacking reinforcements in the summer, with the likes of Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado odds-on to leave White Hart Lane at the end of the season.

According to London Evening Standard, Benfica winger Salvio has been tracked by Spurs in recent weeks, and Spurs could move for the player's services next summer.

Salvio has been capped five times by the Argentine national side.
