Arsenal to bid for Maxime Gonalons?

Arsenal will consider a summer bid for Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons, Metro reports.
The Gunners have been long linked with a move for the French midfielder, and Metro now claims that the North London outfit could launch an offer of around £14.8m for the player's services in the summer transfer window.
It is also understood that manager Arsene Wenger has had his scouts have a good look at the 25-year-old in recent months, and he is finally ready to make a bid for the French international.
Arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring the player's progress.
