David de Gea rejects contract talks

Spain international David de Gea is believed to have rebuffed the latest contract offer from Manchester United, according to The Mirror.

The talented goalkeeper has been in excellent form for United this season, having made a number of scintillating saves to keep them in the top four race.

The Mirror claims that De Gea's future at United has been put on doubt after they failed in their latest attempt to secure his long-term future at Old Trafford.

Reports elsewhere reveal that Real Madrid star Iker Casillas could play a part in convincing the former Atleti man into a switch to the Bernabeu at the end of the season.
