West Ham United to reject Alex Song deal
West Ham United could rebuff the chance to sign on-loan Barcelona midfielder Alex Song at the end of the season, The Mail reports.
The former Cameroon international started off the season in fantastic fashion, and kept the club in the top-four until Christmas with his excellent midfield displays.
However, he has since then been caught with the pace of the game, and a permanent deal is now hanging in the balance.
According to The Mail, the Hammers are pondering over a permanent contract for the former Arsenal man due to weekly wage structure of £80,000, which is considered expensive for a player who has not done much since the turn of the year.
Song's current deal at Barca expires in June 2017.
