Oriel Romeu to quit Chelsea

Spanish midfielder Oriel Romeu has revealed of his intentions to leave Chelsea on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

Romeu has failed to feature for the Blues in recent seasons, having been loaned out to Valencia and Stuttgart.

The former Barcelona man has now insisted that he will seek a fresh challenge way from West London in the summer, having made just 15 league starts in his Chelsea career.

"In June I'll speak with Chelsea to know their intentions." He told The Mirror.

"After two seasons on loan, the ideal would be settling into a club to get some stability. Every player needs continuity."

Romeu signed a three-year deal with the Blues last summer.
