West Bromwich Albion are hopeful of landing the signature of Andre-Pierre Gignac on a Bosman fee transfer at the end of the season.
The French international has been in top form for Marseille this season, having notched up 20 goals in all competitions till now.
However, the former Toulouse star is keen on a new challenge away from Ligue 1, and will exit the club on the expiry of his contract this summer.
The Sun reports that the Baggies will look to lure the talented hitman to the club on a weekly wage package of around £75,000.
