Arsenal: Bendtner is staying
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has insisted that Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner is going nowhere. The winning goalscorer against Tottenham at the weekend had recently been linked with a mvoe to Chelsea.
âNicklas is here for four more years and we want to keep him,â Wenger said in the Sunday Mirror.
âNowhere else in the world do you have so many young players in a club. He is only 19 and he is good enough to have a long-term future here.â
The news is sure to disappoint several clubs, not just Chelsea but also Inter Milan and Ajax who were both interested in the attacker.
