Chelsea ready Icardi offer

Chelsea are readying a summer bid for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, Evening Standard reports.

The 22-year-old has been impressive for the Nerazzurri this season, having notched up 20 goals in all competitions.

Evening Standard claims that Icardi is well aware of the impending interest from the Blues, and he is reluctant to commit his future to the San Siro giants.

It is added that a summer offer of around £22m could be sufficient to tempt Inter into letting go of their star asset.

Icardi joined Inter Milan from Sampdoria in the summer of 2013.
