Ghanaian youngster confirms Man Utd interest

Vitoria de Guimaraes midfielder Bernard Mensah has confirmed that talks are underway over a summer switch to Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old has caught the eye of a whole host of European clubs in recent months, due to his excellent debut season at the Primeira Liga outfit.

Mensah, who is currently linked up with super agent Jorge Mendes, revealed that he could find himself playing for the Red Devils next season.

"It is true that Manchester United want me," He said. "I have not spoken with anyone at Manchester United but I know that there are negotiations with my club."

Mensah has made 20 appearances for his club this season.
