Bournemouth in shock move for Rickie Lambert

Premier League debutants Bournemouth will look to acquire the services of Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert during the summer transfer window.

The England international has struggled since his move to the Reds last summer, and is expected to leave the Merseyside at the end of the season.

According to The Mirror, the Cherries boss is keen on signing up the former Saints star, given he is British and has experience of playing in the top flight of English football.

Lambert has made just seven starts for the Reds this season.
