Southampton consider Kieran Trippier as Clyne replacement
Southampton consider Kieran Trippier as Clyne replacement
Southampton will look to sign up Burnley right-back Kieran Trippier, if Nathaniel Clyne decides to seek a move to a top Premier League club this summer.
Trippier had earned the plaudits for his performances this season, despite seeing the Clarets fail to beat the drop.
According to The Mail, the 24-year-old remains a top transfer target for Saint boss Ronald Koeman, should they lose Clyne to Manchester United during the summer transfer window.
Trippier has a release clause of just £3.5m in his current contract.
