Andrea Pirlo heading to Liverpool?

Italian midfield legend Andrea Pirlo could finish his career at Liverpool, according to a report.

Pirlo has spent his entire career in Serie A, and is expected to seek a fresh challenge away from his homeland before he calls quits to the game.

Tuttomercatoweb claims that Juve will seek to bring in former Reds favourite Xabi Alonso, which would allow Pirlo to clinch his Premier League move.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has already had talks with the veteran midfielder, and considers him as the perfect replacement for outbound star Steven Gerrard.
