Artur Boruc joins Bournemouth on free transfer

Artur Boruc has signed a permanent deal at Premier League newcomers Bournemouth, following his release from Southampton.

The 35-year-old goalkeeper plyed his trade on loan at the Cherries last season, and helped them gain promotion to the Premier League as Championship winners.

The Poland international has now signed a one-year deal at the Goldsands Stadium, and becomes the club's first summer signing as they prepare for life in the top tier of English football.

Boruc made 39 appearances for the Cherries last season.
