Man Utd in pole position to sign ARSENAL TARGET

Manchester United are deemed favourites to sign one of Premier League's most consistent performers.

France international Morgan Schneiderlin has been in top form for the Saints in recent seasons.

The Saints midfielder has been tipped to leave South Coast this summer. with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal linked with his signature.

Reports now claim that United are in the box seat to sign up the former Strasbourg star.

It is added that Schneiderlin has been convinced over a move to Old Trafford, having seen United make a formal enquiry with the Saints for his services.

Southampton currently rate Schneiderlin at £25m.
