Arsenal target signs new Barcelona deal

Arsenal have faced a setback in their pursuit of one of their main summer transfer targets.

Barcelona winger Pedro has been constantly linked with a summer move to the Emirates, having been offered limited playing time at the Catalan giants.

However, the Spain international has opted to commit his future to Barca by putting pen to paper on a new deal to keep him at the Spanish champions until the summer of 2019.

Pedro made just 15 starts for Barca this season, following the arrival of Luis Suarez from Liverpool.
