Liverpool eye move for Alex Song
Liverpool are ready to hijack a move for West Ham's on loan defensive midfielder Alex Song. The Cameroon international will be returning to Barcelona next week.
After a season on loan back in England with the Hammers, Song has decided not to extend his stay at Upton Park and it is understood that Liverpool are very interested in the defensive midfielder. Song is said to be ready to make a move to England permanently and will consider a transfer if a club matches his current salary at Barca. Numerous teams are said to be interested in the midfielder but Liverpool are the favourites to wrap up a deal.
