Liverpool make Charlie Austin approach

Liverpool have reportedly made contact with the representatives of striker Charlie Austin regarding a possible summer move.

The 25-year-old is expected to seek a move to a new club this summer, having seen the R's get relegated to the Championship last season.

According to The Northern Echo, the Reds have entered the pursuit of the former Clarets man.

Queens Park Rangers are holding out for an asking price of £15m for the talented marksman, who scored 18 league goals for the club last season.
