Bournemouth to sign Carlton Cole?

Newly promoted Premier League side AFC Bournemouth are to speak to striker Carlton Cole regarding a move. The player is currently available on a free transfer.

Cole had been released by West Ham at the end of last season and is pursuing a move to another top flight club as quickly as possible. Cole has been recommended to Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe as a good option as a backup striker for the upcoming campaign and the striker will head to the south of England for talks later this week.
