Lehmann to Dortmund

Jens Lehmann has moved a step closer to a move away from the Premiership, England and Arsenal after Dortmund sent representatives to London to negotiate with Lehmann and the English club.

Managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke and general manager Michael Zorc arrived in London on Thursday to begin talks with the Gunners, the German daily said.

Dortmund are targeting a new guardian after their keeper Roman Weidenfeller underwent a shoulder injury and will be ruled out of action for three months.

Lehmann has recently expressed his intention to leave Arsenal after his son was reportedly subjected to racist taunts during a rugby game.

He also wants to boost his chances of being Germany's first-choice keeper during Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland.
