Liverpool close in on SUMMER TARGET

Liverpool are inching closer to sealing a summer deal for one of their main transfer targets.

Southampton full-back Nathaniel Clyne has been tipped to leave South Coast for a switch to Liverpool.

However, the clubs had yet to agree on a transfer fee, with the Saints unwilling to accept anything less than £15m for the England international.

According to The Star, Liverpool are believed to have agreed a fee of around £10.5m rising to £12.5m to bring the talented right-back to Anfield this summer.
