Robin van Persie is expected to call quits on his Manchester United career during this summer's transfer window.
The Netherlands international joined the Red Devils from Arsenal in 2012. and has since then been a key member of the first-team squad.
However, his performances faded last season, due to a series of injuries accompanied by the lack of match fitness.
Van Persie had earlier insisted that he could seek a fresh move away from Old Trafford in order to be in top form for Euro 2016.
It is now widely reported that the 'Flying Dutchman' has asked his agent to look for a new club this summer.
