Xherdan Shaqiri to Everton?

Everton are planning to make a summer swoop for Inter Milan forward Xherdan Shaqiri, according to reports.

The Swiss international only joined the Nerazzurri last winter from Bayern Munich, but manager Roberto Mancini is open to the player's sale as he plans a major squad overhaul this summer.

According to The Mail, Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is a huge admirer of Shaqiri, and could make a tempting offer to lure him to Goodison Park this month.

Shaqiri has often been criticised for his failure to replicate his international form at club level.
